Bling bling
I needed a quick birthday card last night and gave the assignment to my daughter, Jess. Although difficult to see in the scan, she used lots of bling to make this quick card. She added the gems randomly; popped the sentiment and added more gems.
Supplies:
Hero Arts "Happy Birthday"
gems from Hero arts in 2 sizes
Brilliance Ice Blue ink
I will be in Ottawa this weekend for my oldest daughter's curling bonspiel. Gorgeous city but it is going to be cold. BRRRR. Will post again on Monday.

Let Me Introduce Ourselves
It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to tell you a little about ourselves. Frog's Whiskers Ink is a family run business. Rose-Marie & Tom Kerr are the owners. Rose-Marie is the creative genius and Tom...well Tom is the lone male in this operation and has the difficult task of putting up with 4 diverse women. I am Liz who has been with the company part-time for 10 years(still can't believe it has been 10 years :) ), Donna who has been with us on a part-time basis for 4 years and Cassie is our student who has been here for 3 years. We are a Canadian company and have been around for nearly 13 years. The girls here love to stamp and we may have a small, just a small mind you, paper addiction and stuff.
Blogging is a new venture for me and I know that I have a lot to learn but with the help of everyone at FWI we hope to make this a place you will visit often.

Sunny days
This is a quick card Liz made as a get well card for a friend. Bleach pens work great on dark or medium value paper colours. Just take care not to put too much in an area at one time. It may not look like it is working but you will soon see that it has stripped out the colour.
Supplies:
Rosewood stamp, bleach pen, Flower Soft
Labels:
Framed sunflower

So yes it has been awhile since we have done anything to this blog. Sometimes life gets in the way and unfortunately that was definitely the case in 2009.
2010 is here and we are going to dedicate ourselves to make better use of this wonderful way for us to communicate with you.
Stay tuned and please bear with us while we fine tune.
